Troop 282 Families,

If you have already sent an email response to Scoutmaster Altmiller thanks! If not please get back to me as soon as you can!

Summer camp at Camp Easton is just around the corner, as well as our adventure to Yellowstone National Park! We need to get some commitments from Scouts and Scouters on attendance at one or both the adventures this summer! I would like each family to look over the information and please email Scoutmaster Altmiller (baltmiller) with what you believe to be the choice you will be making for this summer. I need to hear from each family! Please know that I need information for Scouts and Scouters alike. Scouts please make sure I know which choice you would like to make. Adult Scouters if you are planning on attending and can drive your vehicle, please include how many seats you have available (please include the driver in the count). Know that this is just your intention and not an absolute. I look forward to hearing from all of you.

Choice #1 – Summer Camp at Camp Easton ONLY (dates are July 16 to 23): If your intention is to ONLY attend Summer Camp at Camp Easton we expect to have a cost range of about $400 to $450. This cost includes the cost of travel to Camp Easton and the return trip to Eugene, additional food for travel, wood for carving, etc. Adult Scouters expected cost range is $210 to $260.

Choice #2 – Yellowstone National Park ONLY (dates are July 23 to 30):If your intention is to ONLY attend Yellowstone National Park adventure only we expect to have a cost range of $225 to $250. This cost includes the cost of travel to Yellowstone and the return to Eugene, food, camping fees, park entrance fee, etc.

Choice #3 – Summer Camp at Camp Easton AND Yellowstone (dates are July 16 to 30):If your intention is to attend BOTH Summer Camp at Easton and then continue on to Yellowstone we expect to have a cost range of $580 to $625. This ultimately includes of the best of all of the above. Adult Scouters expected cost range is $390 to $$460.

Thanks again for getting back to me so quickly!

Yours in Scouting!
