This week at Troop we include a review of Rendezvous and the start of the First Aid Merit Badge. We are preparing the Scouts for the upcoming Emergency Prep in February and March.

Hello Troop 282,
Thank you to those who helped me with the first phase of my Eagle Project. Phase 2 will take place on October 12 and 14 at Marist Catholic High school, and I need helpers! We will start around 9 AM on Friday and 1 PM on Sunday. I will have a sign up list at the next two troop meetings.
The majority of the work will take place on the Friday (12) and we will finish whatever we cannot complete on the Sunday (14). Snacks and a Costco pizza lunch will be provided both days, but make sure to bring a water bottle!
Further details will be provided via email to the scouts that will be on the sign up list. If you can’t make the meetings and can help out please respond via email.

We still need adults to sign up to camp with the Troop overnight as well as adults who are able to drive Scouts to and from the event.
Please let me know if you are an adult who can drive &/or if you are planning to stay overnight.
I need to know by the beginning of Troop on Tuesday. We need at least 2-3 adults to camp and 3-5 drivers depending on vehicle size.
These events can’t happen without our volunteer support.
