TROOP 282 February 5th Meeting

Greetings

Scouts please be on the look out for quarterly advancement reports from our Advancement Coordinator Gwendy Darling.

This week at our Troop meeting, we have an open invitation to the local packs in the area. We will welcome them all as we enjoy time sharing what it is to be a Scout in Troop 282. Please plan on being early to troop this week, 6:50 pm. I am excited to try new desserts and see who comes and desires to investigate what Troop 282 has to offer.

Please note there is NO PLC on 2/5, it has been moved to 2/12 at 5:30 to 6:15 pm. (location will be announced this week!)

Blessings,

Scoutmaster Altmiller

Looking Ahead:

TROOP 282 Meeting January 26th

Greetings,

This week at Troop a review of Klondike Derby will be a priority as we look to improve each time we go. Following the review the Scouts will begin to prepare for the Webelos Visitation the following week. See you all there!

Klondike Derby Campout January 25th-26th

Hello 282,

I was able to secure a deal for us for snow boots at Bergs for Klondike. Please note the following details:

-Cost is $10 per pair
-Scouts will need to cover the cost of this, not to be pulled from their ISA accounts
-Boots can be picked up as early as Wednesday January 23rd and must be dropped off no later than Sunday January 27th- make sure to check their business hours.

-It will be FIRST COME FIRST SERVE! There are other units in our area attending Klondike that will also be picking up boots from Bergs so there may be a chance that if you wait too long to pick some up they wont have them in stock.

Also still looking for an adult who can drive and stay for this besides Mr. Yozzo and myself.

Kind Regards.
